PHOTO Papers
We offer a range of premium Photo Archival papers in gloss, satin luster and mat.
Gloss 260gsm High quality US made resin coated high gloss material for general photographic work. This material is extremely bright and represents an alternative to traditional metal dye photographic prints. $150.00 meter
Satin luster 250gsm This is our stock printing paper. It is a high quality USA resin coated semi gloss material for general photographic work. This material shares a white point exceeding that of most other similar materials. It is at home with pigment ink printers and has an advanced luster coating to subdue the image. Optical brighteners far superior to similar materials. $150.00 meter
Mat double-sided 220gsm This default media is for full mat proofing or poster work. A substantial increase in white point and a reduction in acid levels make this product very close to ph neutral. The premium Mat is far smoother and brighter and has less chance of yellowing. The construction is double-sided pulp full mat and printable for pigment inks. $130.00 meter
ART Papers
We offer a range of exhibition fine art archival papers.
Highly textured paper – Eterna Elite cotton rag 320gsm mat paper. Italian cold press high textured and a flexible nature only cotton rag can give. The construction contains no optical brighteners in the base or the coating. The tone is a pleasant natural shade designed for art paper. The colour gamut is exceptional despite having no optical brighteners. $180.00 meter
Crane Masea Max 259gsm, Exhibition Mat From one of the world oldest paper makers comes this maximum high textured paper. Made in the USA it is 100% cotton rag fine art paper constructed completely acid free and internally buffered. It has no optical brighteners. This paper is only available upon special request. $180.00 meter
Lightly textured paper – Eterna Elite cotton rag 320gsm paper. Lightly textured, Italian cold press with sharp random texture. Flexible for cotton rag with no optical brighteners in base or coating. A pleasant natural tone designed for art paper that gives exceptional colour gamut. $180.00 meter
Smooth paper – HM Grey Hawk mat paper250gsm, a photographers dream. Super bright acid free paper that is ultra-smooth with the brightest whites and can be displayed on its own right or as a great proofing paper. Double sided paper pulp construction, full mat with lots of optical brighteners. Printed with pigment inks creates images that will not fade in your lifetime. $180.00 meter
INKS
We only use Epson archival Ultrachome pigment inks combined with our archival papers and canvases will give you rich vibrant colours with no fading.
CANVASES
We can print all digital files to canvas including photos and design or digital artwork.
Smooth textured canvas - GMS premium Edition 2007 poly/cotton blend 430gsm. New surface coating revealing all underlying textures. The 2007 edition is a bright white, excellent water-resistant and has outstanding stretching abilities. This archival product has an acid free base, which is made of 70/30 cotton/polyester blend. Made in the USA for maximum dimensional stability and limited shrinkage. This canvas has mild optical brighteners and is capable of a wide colour gamut. Sprayed with GMS Aquathane UV laminate has an archival life of approximately 175 years. Combined with Aquathane spray provides extreme strength and can survive repeated flexing at 180 degrees for gallery wraps. $ 250.00 meter
High Textured canvas – GMS Natural Zero 100% cotton fine art canvas. This large texture canvas with recent enhancements makes for a seedless product that reduces the need for retouching. Natural Zero is relative bright, (iso 97), that possesses no optical brighteners. Traditional coarse weave allows for the bending over sharper stretcher bars. The high textured nature allows the use of special laminate thickeners that create a “point of light” effect that is popular with photographic portraiture. Printed with pigment inks the canvas has an archival life of 81 years and doubled if not tripled once sprayed with Aquathane UV laminate spray. $ 250.00 meter
Aquathane Sealant Laminates Spray Aquathane, tough, durable, starch resistant, water based and ultra clear finish. Outdoor rated protective coating for inkjet and solvent printable canvas and vinyl’s. Aquathane comes in three different finishes, Mat, satin and gloss. The satin finish is the Galleries stock spray. Aquathane is manufactured in Melbourne and is a recent addition onto the market. The old acrylic sprays were problematic at best with constant cracking and flaking. Aquathane is polyurethane and stays flexible through out the life of the canvas. Aquathane has incorporated nano-technology for the UV blocking agents therefore maintains an excellent archival life of approximately 150 years. Aquathane also has a marine element manufactured into it protecting the canvas from moisture and fungus. $ 70.00 meter
Canvas Stretcher Bars Canvas stretcher bars come in 2 sizes, 32 x 42 mm and 32 x 32. The front of the bars have a tapered edge not allowing the canvas to ever touch the inside edge of the bar thus leaving an impression. We also have bracing bars that are designed to strengthen large stretched canvas prints. Kiln dried and finger jointed New Zealand regrowth timber bars. Unlike sharp edged art bars, these bars are made for inkjet printing with 6mm rounded edges for the elimination of canvas cracking. $80.00 meter
