The Bell Street Gallery is dedicated to landscape and surfing photography.
The Gallery offers an outlet to local professional photographers who shoot under these two main categories. The bodies of work help to expose the raw and at times frightening beauty of this ancient coastline now known as “The Great Ocean Road”, encompassing international iconic locations such as the Twelve Apostles and Bells Beach.
Due to the difficulties for photographers to gain gallery wall space in the art society, this gallery was born. It allows photographers, who understood real frustration at the lack of opportunities, a place to be seen and just as importantly a place for their work to be sold. At this present time the Gallery offers ten photographers of a professional standard, ranging from award winning fine art landscape photography to top international surf photography. This wide range of unique styles with varying interpretation of photography allows the customer to be total engrossed and fascinated by the variety of work. |
